You guys, this extended version of the Degrassi TNG theme song has a guest rapper.

P.S., when you were little, did you imagine that theme songs were always sung by the people on the show? I did, probably thanks to Alan Thicke and Mrs. Garrett.

  5. Gregory Crewdson, “Beneath the Roses”
This photograph reminds me of a rainy night I spent with my parents in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It was August 20, 2007. I remember this because it was the night we spent on the road while we were in the process of moving me to New York.
Needless to say, I found Scranton a bit eerie.

HK Starbucks has some unconventional treats, it would appear. Also, when I first looked at this I was thinking in US dollars rather than Hong Kong dollars, and I had a genuine, my-dad-style moment of, “That price is OUTRAGEOUS!”

Television Personalities - Part Time Punks (via alextypical)

you guys, I haven’t heard this song since I was a freshman at UC Santa Cruz, and Josh The Lowdown gave me a Television Personalities tape. It was definitely a major sound for me for a while, but then Velvet Goldmine came out and suddenly it was all about Bobby Conn and Roxy Music.

  10. One of my posts was recently ‘liked’ by the folks at a Tumblr called A Place to Love Dogs. I recommend that you take a look! It is like the Anne Geddes of dog images crossed with the LOLcats of dog images, but with maybe less irony than the synthesis of that dialectic would entail.
